The Landscapers are Back

March 19, 2011

We do this every year. And we will until we either move or get a paved driveway. Or by some miracle, make it through a winter without any snow.

The Chief told the boys that the job needed to get done so the grass would grow. The kept begging me to go out and do it, but it’s still been quite cold. On this 40 degree day, we got out there and did the deed. Part of it, at least.

BEFORE: lots of gravel on the grass.

DURING: Bruiser was an especially hard worker. However, after not getting very far with the rocks he switched to raking leaves.

AFTER: Yes, of course I did most of the work! 98% at least. Just don’t tell them that.

Part 2 will be the hand-picking once it gets warm enough to do it without numbing our fingers.

We have the same problem during the winter here. All of our gravel and rocks are in the yard. The driveway is just dirt and mud!
