Peanut Butter!!!

January 24, 2011

I never had any real consistent food cravings with either of my last two pregnancies. Sure I’d get the strong desire for a pizza or grilled cheese and then have to go get it, but never anything that I wanted over and over again.

This time around it’s different. I’m not sure how it all started, perhaps Bruiser’s love for the PB&J at lunch, perhaps my body is just telling me eat more protein and fat! Whatever it is, I haven’t gone a day without a bite of the delicious stuff for the last week.

On a bagel.

On toast.

On rice cakes.

On a sandwich with jelly, honey, or fluff.

Licked right off the spoon like a lollipop.

Doesn’t really matter how, it’s all good!

But it must be Jif. And it MUST be creamy!

I’ll tell you what…it’s a good thing that tomorrow is grocery shopping day!

After last night’s 1 am peanut butter on toast and the peanut butter lollipop I’m licking right now, this jar will be empty.

🙂 At least it’s something yummy and normal. 🙂
I just have strong desires, but nothing like you’re having with peanut butter..yet, any way. But, oh, what a delicious thing to crave!! (Try dipping pretzel sticks in it…another heavenly way to eat it!)

Mmmm, yes, pretzel sticks! Didn’t even think of that one. I bought apples this week to pair with it so I’m not always consuming so many extra carbs when I have my PB craving. Congrats on the BOY! =) I do hope you have better luck agreeing on a name than we did! We’ve got a basket full of girl names, but nothin’ for a boy.
