Art Appreciation

January 11, 2011

I asked Monkey to draw a picture of our family with the names of the people near them.

Like any good 4-year old, he started with himself.

Allow me to interpret this piece for you. =)

Next in line comes Bruiser.

Skip over the cat-like mother for now and let’s check out the Chief.

Here’s how Monkey sees me.

So there’s the hidden message in Monkey’s art. =) I am 10 weeks along, due August 8th. Besides a lack of desire to eat much of anything while still being hungry and being constantly tired, I’m feeling quite well. I’ve traded in my afternoon quite time of blogging and reading for a nap since I just can’t make it through the day without one. Please forgive the lack of posts recently, I will be back as this early-pregnancy tiredness wears off!

Congrats! I completely understand. I am just to the point now where I can get through the day without a nap…but it’s much better when I get one. šŸ™‚
Congrats again. That is so exciting!

Thanks. And congrats to you too! I read your post quickly when we were in New England for Christmas and didn’t have time to comment. Meant to go back and do that….sorry! Two is a whole lot of fun. Totally different ball-game, but a very good one. =)
